Our Experience

Yesterday, Jason and I decided to venture out to Brewburgers in Venice, a cozy spot situated near Jacaranda and I-75. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, setting the perfect stage for a leisurely lunch.

As we settled in, we quenched our thirst with beverages—Jason went for a soda, while I chose ice water with a lime wedge. I’ve always preferred the zesty taste of lime over lemon, and it was a refreshing start to our meal.

For my entrée, I was craving something light yet filling. I opted for the salad topped with blackened shrimp, with honey mustard dressing. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, with a smoky, spicy crust that contrasted beautifully with the crisp, fresh greens. Instead of pouring the dressing over it, a simple dip of my fork before taking a bite was all it needed. The honey mustard dressing added a touch of sweetness that tied everything together harmoniously.

Jason, on the other hand, decided to indulge in a classic patty melt accompanied by a side of golden tater tots. The patty melt boasted a juicy, well-seasoned beef patty, smothered in melted cheese and caramelized onions and a nicely toasted marble rye bread keeping it all together. The tater tots were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making for a delightful side dish.

We couldn’t resist adding a basket of cheese curds to our order, served with a light and flavorful ranch dressing. The cheese curds were fried to crispy perfection, with a gooey, melt-in-your-mouth center. The ranch dressing provided a lovely tangy complement to the rich cheese. They may have my favorite ranch dressing in the area.

It was a bit pricey for a lunch at $40.71 before tip, but considering we added the appetizer and I had shrimp on my rather large salad, I can see where it all added up. Service was friendly and for the amount of tables they had between two servers, they managed it well.
